Move Upward no Downward

So one thing that I struggle with the most is, low self esteem, even if no one is trying to bring myself esteem down, I do it to myself. I feed off of compliments and use peoples words to give myself worth. I have faltered to actually see the potential in myself and how God sees me. how did this happen? This flaw holds me back a lot of the time, from happiness, relationships, friendships, this problem not only effects me but those around me. I dont want that, God does'nt want that either. When i live for the approval and love of others i give them permission to determine my worth. I need to live for the approval and  love of God because He is the only one who has the right to judge me.

Ive learned that bad attitudes, negativity, low self esteem, feelings of inadequacy are not things that are gonna help us rise higher. These things are not gonna move us closer to what God has in store for us. No! They are gonna move us in a downward spiral, because more negative thoughts and belief in what people tell you that "you are" or what "you can't do", only lead to self destruction. That is not something that makes God happy, it sounds like something the enemy uses against us.  Instead, God wants us to go in an upward spiral, God wants us to be closer to him the only way is upward! We need to believe in ourselves and value ourselves. God gave us unique and special gifts to offer the world, but when we fall into the trap of believing "we are no good" and bringing others down just to make ourselves feel better, we grow farther from God. We fall back in that downward spiral. There is no more room for God to bless us because we arnt abiding in him, God says we can do all things through him who gives us strength so why are we holding back? God says we are well able and equiped for everythings that comes in our way. So why am I letting this self esteem problem move me farther away from God, why am i letting this problem tear my realtionships up? This problem only stops me from giving my full potential to this life and my impact on the people in my life. i wanna be a light to those who do have this problem and show them how to have a better self esteem. I want my great Self esteem to not only benefit me but to rub off on those who need it. A low self esteem stops you from being your ultimate self. This problem is over.
